Valle Grande: a History of the Baca Location No. 1

Craig Martin, Los Alamos, New Mexico, All Seasons, 2003. This is probably the most comprehensive history of the Caldera and area.

Valles Caldera: a Geologic History

Frazer Goff, University of New Mexico Press, Albuquerque, 2009. The most recent book on the Caldera, explaining the geologic history... with
many fine color photographs and graphics.

Valles Caldera: a Vision for New Mexico's National Preserve

William deBuys & Don J. Usner, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Museum of New Mexico Press, 2006. This book contains many beautiful photographs of the Caldera.
